The Role
Providing general support and assistance EHS Team
Carry out regular site visits and audits with live projects
Completing permits for our various clients for scheduled works
Compiling risk assessments and method statements for works
Assisting with site administration and weekly updates of H&S data
Carrying out stock takes of PPE
Assist with the organisation and planning of Health and Safety Inductions
Maintaining training matrix and advise management of training requirements
Collecting and collating relevant information for inclusion in the Safety Management System
Deliver toolbox talks
Assist with organising of training
Ad hoc tasks that may arise

The Role
· Control and carry out installation pipework of new Air-Conditioning systems.
· Ensure all works are delivered on time.
· Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and quality.
· Update company mobile management information systems for all works

Skills & Experience
· Brazing certification.
· Fgas certificate.
· Proficiency in working with heavier gauge copper piping (1/2 inch to 1 inch and 5/8")
· Copper pipe bending skills using hydraulic bending methods
· Competent in reading, piping, schematics and drawings.
· Successful candidate must have experience and knowledge of refrigeration pipework and purging avoiding oxidisation.
· Reading and interpreting, Isometric drawings and Mechanical Drawings specifications to determine the layout, sequence, and location of piping systems.
· Measuring and cutting pipes to the required length, using hand and power bending tools, such as saws, pipe cutters, and grinders.
· Assembling and fitting small bore high bore pipe systems pipes, valves, and fittings using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
· Installing and connecting pipes and components according to the design specifications and safety standards.
· Perform leak tests, pressure tests, and other quality control checks to ensure that the piping systems is free from leaks and are functioning correctly and efficiently.
· Previous experience as a Refrigerant Pipe Installer on large-scale commercial or industrial projects
· Experience installing 'refnet' branches in copper piping
· To be successful as a pipefitter, you need to have a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. You should also be able to work independently or as part of a team, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing work environments and conditions.
· English speaking essential
· Experience working with Mitsubishi, Daikin, Panasonic or Toshiba Air Conditioning Systems is desirable.

The Role
· Preparation of reports to manufacturers guideline.
· Provide engineering and technical support to plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities in Gävle, Sweden.
· Witnesses the static & dynamic testing of complex mechanical, electrical & control systems where required.
· Perform Test Procedures.
· Interact with contractors, interpreting design and specifications.
· Conduct site observation surveys and prepares field reports on the status of projects and completion of projects with respect to compliance to the plans and specifications.
· Prepare punch list reports and determines corrective measures for on-site problems.
· Prepare general condition survey reports.
· Familiarise oneself with codes, local project regulations, construction practices and the latest equipment functional concepts.
· Adhere to all the projects safety requirements including specific on-site regulations.
· Performs routine calculations.
· Act as project coordinator with other field engineers, coordinating printing, presentation and administration procedures.
· Review shop drawings and submissions.


The Successful Candidate
· Must have a proven track record in VRF, HVRF, DX, splits, BACnet and HVAC systems.
· Good knowledge of Mitsubishi Systems Essential.
· Be fluent in both written and spoken English.
· Have the ability to deal with high level construction projects.
· Be able to meet targets and deadlines.
· Be F-Gas certified.

Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Act as a subject matter expert to operational management and develop formal, annual plans to drive continuous improvement Crystal Air.
Meet regularly and present EHS data to business unit leaders and their management teams
Provide support for effectively assessing and controlling risk in the workplace. Identify gaps and provide solutions to ensure compliance is achieved
Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with Clients, Managers, Supervisors and Employee representatives and other key stakeholders
Promote and support the continuous development of a positive EHS culture
Monitor and measure compliance with legal standards and establish effective follow up procedures to ensure any weaknesses are quickly and reliably addressed
Contribute to the proper drafting and effective communication of the Company's EHS policies
Evaluate, develop, promote and support the establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive and effective EHS management system by contributing to the development of the system
Identify EHS training and development needs, and act on them
Assist in the solving of audit items contained in both internal, external and self-audit reports to ensure effective action is taken to solve these issues and concerns
Manage an internal audit programme for the facility and complete audits against plan. Support action item closure.
Issue reports and work with stakeholders regard to their EHS Data, identify trends and champion EHS Initiatives.


Required profile:
How you will do it
Conduct regular walks with the operational teams to provide general support and problem solving.
Participate in safety council/committee meetings and management meetings to ensure key points are discussed and that suitable action is taken on the matters raised.
Carry out detailed investigations of more serious incidents in the workplace and draft appropriate reports, including determining the root cause or causes of the incident
Liaise with enforcing authorities when issues are raised and deal with any follow up investigation or enforcement action to reduce or mitigate risk to the Company
Participate in Compliance forums to keep up to date with best practices and network with other EHS professionals to keep abreast of the latest innovations and developments in order to drive forward continuous improvement within the Company
Manage and maintain all environmental aspects and their associated impacts, through the development of an effective compliance calendar and implementation of an appropriate management system
Assess all contractors' processes and procedures to verify they meet the Company's expected EHS standards and that their performance is satisfactory measured against agreed targets.

What we are looking for:
Degree or equivalent in Environmental, Health and Safety management (preferred)
A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a construction environment
Hold a full, clean driving licence.
Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
